Got an idea, on the weekend of Aug 20th, lets meet up and go to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Maybe I'll take the train and meet you in Albany, then we could get a hotel for one night near Cooperstown. It could be a belated birthday thing for both of us. If you drive to Albany to get me and taxi us around, I'll pay for the rest. After two 11 hour round trips to southern VA and then 18 hours of NY trip driving, a relaxing train ride sounds great. Or maybe I'll drive... details can be worked out. Whatcha think? This quiet weekend in NY is taking on a life of its own anyway, apparently we're having a big cookout now with a lot of people being invited. Chas and Chrissy have been texting and they have plans, my kids have been texting Rachel and they have plans.... I don't want any plans, only to visit with the relatives and have a few tomoato sandwiches from fresh tomatoes that were picked in the yard... maybe some michigans, possibly some taco salad, okay and a burger. I guess my plan is to gain 5 pounds! That sucks bro, but you gotta do what you gotta do I suppose.
