Today was a pretty good day off. I spent it cooking (thanks Granny for the oven gadget, I love gadgets) and doing yard work. I slept a decent amount but as is customary, Alex woke up pretty early. I missed my little girl after a few days away while she stayed over at my Mom’s. It’s good to get a break but you realize you miss the little brat. :) My days off are split up so I try to make the most of each one. It’s good because the most I work in a row is three days but bad because a day is not enough time to go somewhere. Two in a row and we could spend a night somewhere but I’ll live. I took a few days off at the end of August when I plan to have surgery (um.. how do I say it? the big ‘V’.. no more kids made by me). I was talking about maybe going to see my Brother then but it’s in the middle of the week (Monday to Thursday) and he may be too busy with work. We’ll see.
As of right now there are exactly 199 approved comments on this blog. The very next one will be 200. What does this mean? Absolutely nothing, but it is a round number. :) I also have 1238 posts as of this entry and that’s not really an overly round number. In 7.5 years or 90 months I’ve averaged 17.5 posts per month. That’s not too bad. Speaking of months..
This month I will be posting every day. How many times have I said this? A lot. Too many to count. Why am I doing this? No reason, I just want to see if I can. There’s no reason I can’t because I can post from my phone anywhere I am. I may post multiple times in a day from my phone but my goal is to fill up that calendar that was quite sparse in July. There’s one in the books. :)
