I was up last night past 2 in the morning and I woke up early for work so I didn’t get very much sleep. I went to two computer repair jobs after work at the bank yesterday. At the first one I picked up a netbook and took it home to work on. It wouldn’t boot to Windows when I got it and it was essentially in the same state when I returned it. It has no CD drive and I have no external one to hook to it. I tried various methods through my USB thumb drive to repair Windows and was able to get from a black screen saying files were missing to the Windows logo and a super fast blue screen before it rebooted eternally. I missed posting in my blog because I was working on that netbook.
The other place after I picked the netbook up was just to help fix an error when they had Adobe Flash trying to update. That and a few other minor problems were easy to fix. I haven’t been doing too many side jobs and I don’t plan to after I start repairing computers for a living. I don’t want a conflict of interest. I’m sure they won’t have a problem with me helping friends far from the store. I’m going out with Jim and Joe tonight at 7 so I’m going to wrap this up and do a few things before I leave.
